Saw some data online about something like 60% of gays having "the voice" and was wondering from your experience if it is more common in dudes that receive rather than give? What about those who do both?
Any comments or thoughts on "gay voice" are appreciated/welcome.
i'm a short asian but have a deep manly voice that doesn't really match my build. of course i can sound like a faggot, but it's not my regular voice. the only time i might actually sound ultra gay is if i'm being ravished by a my bf. it kind of just comes out as a reflex, especially if emotions are running high
>>40287305 (OP)there is no way 60% of gay men talk like flamers
>>40287398Yeah idk, that is why I am asking. I'm not sure exactly what qualifies as "the gay voice" too, is that full tv parody gay or just, "oh that is a bit feminine sounding"? If it is the latter, does that sound more realistic?
I only get the voice when I'm drunk. Something my straggot friends tease me for now that they noticed the trend
the "gay voice" is just how women talk, but it stands out when a man does it, and it's a learned behavior in men and women alike. in fact, most people speak in a way that's a learned behavior. the "most natural" (least socialized) way of speaking is with a flat affect like an autist who can't into social norms. women talk with "gay voice" more than men because their social hivemind is stronger than men's (and for the obvious reason that vocal affect is a strong expression of one's sex and so most members of each sex try to conform to their own).
