What would you do if you were in my situation? Let's say your exchange rate devalues 20 times the value of your currency. So, the situation is this:

You have 35k pounds. Option a is to go to university, pay for a degree in mathematics, and then perhaps study for a master's degree in computer science. Option b is to pay for a full FFS degree with a good surgeon.

The context is this: You're NEET, you study on your own, but with the current situation in tech, you're afraid you might wont make it.

You already own a house that you inherited from your parents.

I'm not bragging! My situation is too niche and I need references. That board is either dead or full of trolls. I need advice. Leave me alone.

Only a tranny can understand another tranny's need and desire for having an FFS.

I say again, my situation is too niche. I need another tranny's advice on what she would do in my situation.

In Brazil and Chile they are still hiring, but only for people with a degree. I have lost several job offers because I don't have a degree. That's how it works now, at least here. But to get a degree, the only one I can afford costs 35k.

im a faang tranny, tbqh get FFS then pursue a degree. imo FFS is going to improve your quality of life more than a tech job and its a much more sure thing. you can always try for uni after, and fitting FFS into a demanding work schedule is hard and can fuck you over at your job. better to get FFS, pass, and go through your career w/o tranny past handing over your head, i wish id done it

So you know you want to go to college? You don't necessarily have to go. If you're willing to work in the IT industry (that's what I do lel), you can get certifications in it for much cheaper than going to college while qualifying you for a ton of jobs, and most IT employers will bump your pay per cert (And a lot of them start their base pay at $20 an hour here in Burgerland, which is pretty damn good for a job that doesn't require a college degree). And there's a lot of remote work in the IT field that still pays well, so you could fully transition without anybody observing you during it, in the privacy of your own home. And finally, there will never be a time where people aren't looking for IT, so more than likely there will never be a time where you won't be able to find at least a little bit of employment in the field.

you should probably keep 25k of it
and hardball some move with the 10k and turn it over. so you get the 35k back.
so then you have like.. 60k.

i dont have any recommendations presently on whats going to pop off.
but i'm sure if you lurk /biz/ for a while and watch the lines, you'll find a random moonshot happening through some night.

and just get in and get out.

Go for FFS and whoring out on OF so that you can afford a degree that are higher in terms of quality. Or use that FFS'd face of yours to get some sugar daddies or some shit like that.

Selling yourself out doesn't mean you have to be a dumbass bimbo NPC you know?

OP I am not a tranny but I work in tech and the advice that can be given depends entirely on how good you are. Are you cracked? If so, there will always be employment.

capitalists are buying everything up and gutting the staff for shareholder profits since most other industries are stagnant right now
and partially because of AI, or at least... the perception/cope from higher-ups that the AI shit they spent a trillion dollars on isn't useless and can replace us

The economy is bad
Less jobs
interest rates are high
Rise of AI
Trump killed tax credit for R&D that many tech companies use especially tech

It’s not looking good for the tech sector I would specialize or pivot to something else
