It is a pro gamer move to actually deactivate their customer service flirting and and activate a genuine connection, but it's definitely okay if they are receptive.

I have a bias because the last guy I saw do that was an actual stalker, but it can really put the worker in a position where they have to be nice to you which will probably come off as being interested when they're actually not
