Not one of those people, but it's because they're sexist and want reasources to continue going toward women. They're sexist in the sense that they believe women are inherently inferior to men. And they keep the reasources going to women by gatekeeping femininity and ensuring we remain in the mindset of: "People who are worse off deserve more" rather than "people who are better off deserve more" to ensure the patriarchy directs itself purely toward women and views men as abusers and monsters and rapists, superior still, but undeservingly so.
