enbies do not exist in the west. a gender isnt something one person can make up, its a sex-based social construct that carries a lot of weight wrt social roles, clothes, actions etc. there are historical third genders that fit this description. eunuchs for example. castration at a young age renders them sexless, in lots of places they were advisors etc. they could not fill the role of a man or a woman and neither men nor women could fill the role of a eunuch. that just doesnt exist in the USA/EU afaik. medical transition can do a lot to make a person's biological sex match the intended sex. (mtf SRS is much closer to a vagina than a penis in form function etc.). tranners fill the social role of their intended gender, wear the clothes etc.
