>>40307586i will now remember u for posting fractals even if u dont always post fractals like i do bugs
>I wonder if they're all named phidippus then.if u mean all jumping spiders then no, jumping spiders are a v diverse family and phidippus is one genus within that so theres a bunch of species named phidippus but also a lot that arent
theres one genus called portia thats kinda notable bc theyre very smart, theyre specialised hunters of orb web weaving spiders and they come up with rly complex hunting plans to be able to jump their prey spiders on their webs
phidippus is one of my favourite genera bc theyre very cute in the face, this one
>>40305389 is phidippus whitmani
i ran into p.audax a couple times at one of the woods i go to n it made me v happy theyre quite large and v eyecatching
the mandelbulb structure kinda reminds me of this marine worm head under an electron microscope i see all the time, its quite pretty. honestly was rly frustrating trying to find this image, i forgot what it was supposed to be so i looked up stuff like "microscope magnified worm head" and 90% of search results were godawful ai slop. i hate the internet rn
