Okay I hate to be that they but honestly its a good idea to allow people to be trans without medically transitioning, this gets rid of the grifter that did HRT to "prove" that they were trans and then backstab the community after realizing they didn't to do that. Just let people have labels so they won't do anything they don't want to do

Less trans grifters because people that aren't trans are less likely to do hormones, so they cannot detransition in any real sense

explores gender identity psychology to find out why we are trannies in the first place

annoys the hell out conservatives that won't give us rights no matter what, even to people that put effort to sex changes, there are no cis saviors

Helps people find out of they're genuinely trans or not because transitioning is scary as fuck

Nearly everyone agrees cancer patients should get care (if they can pay). Sex reassignment is way, way, way more controversial. They had to convince hospital boards to let them do the surgeries on their property.
