Any game so long as it distracts me from my surroundings and thoughts

I am unable to enjoy games anymore. I open a game and it'll be closed within 5 minutes. I feel a deep sense of loneliness and emptiness when playing single player games. At the same time, I am unable to interact with other people. I 'm too scared to even join parties with other people in mmos. The only games I've been able to find interest in recently are ones with extreme content, and I get bored of them quickly.

I used to play legend of zelda for that when I was younger. As the only place I could just run around being what I was and being appreciated by people.

anything where i can self insert, really. doesn't just mean playing a male character for me, because the only options being "twink" or "grug the destroyer" is a pet peeve for me that takes me out of it. i don't care if the only characters are premade though because i'm not trying to split hairs over character design in that case

playibg pso games all my life helped with dysphoria id say :) especially pso2 though i had finally transitioned by the time i started global in 2020; just about 6 weeks before my moms death

i have like 6 or 7 other versions that all use the same skirt outfit (which i carry all the diff color opies with me always; my empty inventory is 180/200 due to all the outfits and weapon skins i carey plus my actual game items); but only sapphire/spinel/golden use the ribbons because that accessory only exists in blue red yellow; the other colors use different wing things instead of ribbons and fairy winds; the orange one has goldfish fins; white angel wings; purple has crystal things

its not even an ngs outfit just og pso2 but its my favorite because it looks siren-y with the long skirt which animates okay most of the time; it feels free and i love flying around in ngs especially around my temple and seeing the ribbons flow behind her

its like visualizing my goddess; but through myself in the game

the blue and red ones are together in the underground shrine at my temple; symbolizing me and my wife; my ex/bestie is there too (purple)

many of my outfits are done with a birthstone color theme; especially sapphire (mine); spinel (my wife's); and peridot (also my wife's)

I don't really play single player video games.They aren't that fun desu playing multiplayer games with your friends is more fun, and also if i had to cathegorize the games i play i'd say i play story-driven/visual novels the most.
