No, seriously, if anyone ever considers you male it is out of spite, on normal situations, that is if you presented as male and tried to do male stuff while claiming you are male, everyone would just dismiss you; one of the reasons I always boymoded since young was to play the system, noticed very early on that society just don't like outliers and will always try to correct them often going against their preferences.
