Grew up in the bush (rural/semi rural area - significantly less Christian than the rest of the country for convoluted historical reasons which was probably an advantage) was lucky enough to come out around the upward trend in trans acceptance in the mid 2010's & got connected to an LGBT youth group - those people are family to me I thank god/fate/whatever every day I'm fortunate to have a massive trans support network because of it

A few. Most I met through online spaces (discord, dating apps, here, etc) but I like meeting people irl.

Honestly I had to let go of the idea of only hanging around other trannies. I've been better off for it and its made me consider what I want from the people in my life instead of attaching myself to whoever gives me attention. I've found cis people in my life as well who are very understanding and open minded who I like being around.

To all my friends who are still around, I love you all. To those who aren't - a steady diet of loud music, narcotics, and sleep have made me forget you, and we are all better off.
