i built a decent spec pc only to play stardew and sudoku on it and almost nothing else
i think i only like the idea of having good hardware and not really actually using it for anything

I built mine, and I’m a bi cis woman.
I’ve wanted to build a PC of my own since I was like, six, and I finally saved up enough for it last year. I’m using Win10 LTSC until support ends, and then I guess I’m moving to Linux, because I refuse to use Win11.

like $320 i think for the thinkcentre itself and all the components combined
the xeon isnt really all that powerful, it's just a 4c/8t model that's better than the 2 core i3 it came with.

nah I have my brother build them for me or I pick the parts and pay an extra $10 to a local store to build it for me. I no longer find pleasure in building puters, only stress from potentially losing hundreds of dollars because I fucked up

Last time I built one I was still working at a repair shop, the retard that handled my order switched the GPU and the Monitor, still turned out fine and I still use it from time to time.

it's messier than i'd want to take a photo of LOL but

>Ryzen 9 7800X3D
>Radeon 7900XTX
> 64GB DDR5-6000
> Peerless Assassin 2 I think?
> Some Gigabyte board
> OLED Alienware ultrawide w/ secondary LCD ultrawide, vertical 16:9 I still need to hook up

Also pictured is my messy desk - ds5 controller, floppy drive and memory card adapters for my vintage digicams, my minidisc collection, a dock for my phone (as well as my dedicated music player which is what usually lives in it), a dumb blue mic i got bc i don't know microphones very well, nuphy keyboard (they are pretty and sound nice), side buttonpad mouse, and a KVM switch (i tried to set it up so i can plug my work laptop in when i'm WFH.

also my 16 port powered usb hub because why not

no webcam, if I need a webcam I have a screw mount clip that I put one of my digicams on and connect it to my PC through a composite to USB adapter (since they all have AV out).
