most therapists who aren't LGBT themselves or well trained on LGBT issues have ZERO idea what the fuck they're talking about
my school had an in-house therapist and when I came out to the counselor they put me into see him and his entire "therapy" was trying to find "gotcha" moments to say I wasn't trans like he was steven crowder and smirking. then I guess he got bored of that because he then just ghosted me altogether and never called me to see him again. that experience made me rep for years after.
NEVER listen to what those therapists have to say, people talk about trannies trying to pinkpill you but never talk about how often the reverse occurs of people trying to gaslight you into thinking you're not trans
