I like that the boymoder has a classic imac g3, perfect amount of nerdy autism and cuteness for her.

I love collective conciousness charecters made on forums like the early win-tans. The boymoder feels really similar. Shes a collection of basic traits used for messaging. Like a community created newspaper comic strip charecter

i usually just start off with a head shape, draw a circle and tweak it, add length whatever, then draw eyes, bangs, and other facial features, then finish it off with the hair on the back of the head. ill draw a body after if im just doodling but if i care i might plan out a pose with a wireframe or something. if u want i can link some general character drawing stuff since i dont explain very well. it doesnt have to be perfect. the only way to get better at art is to do art so u gotta start somewhere :p
