>24 yr old mtf almost done with college, started transitioning at 18
>Go back to home town for a couple days cause strikes or whatever
>Mom works there as a pedagogue so I ask her how are the kids there cause I'm curious to see how fucked up high school still is
>She talks about the kids there, though mostly just tells stories about disobedient kids and whatever
>She mentions that there's a single trans girl that gets bullied all the time, gets in fights and skips class
>Think I can help her since it might be good for her to know a fellow a trans person so I ask mom if I can see talk to her sometime
>Mom manages to get us to meet in her room while she's doing other stuff, the girl seems rough, I can see she's quite tired, probably doesn't sleep that much, there's cuts and bruises as well. Though she does go out in girlmode surprisingly, with long hair and wearing the girl's uniform
>It takes a while for me to get her to open but when I say I'm trans she brightens up and eventually opens up to a little, talks about her interests, mostly queer zoomer stuff like Deltarune and femtanyl
>We agree to keep talking and I promise to try and help her feel better
>Over the course of a couple weeks we keep talking, at school and outside of it. I give her tips on how to deal with mental health stuff and trans stuff, helping her dress better and do makeup. She opens up to me about her life and tells me more about her, I share my life experience as well.
>Within a month she looks way better, more confident, she actually gets excited and happy to talk to me. Stops skipping school that much, she still gets bullied a lot which makes me sad but she's better at dealing with it.
>By time I have to go back to college she already has a girlfriend, making me really proud.
>I tell her in person I have to leave and return to college, she gives me a hug and says "Goodbye big sister"
