If you're quibbling about how things are applied today, the teaching hasn't actually changed even under Francis. Homosexual relations are still considered inherently disordered and trans women are not considered women. Tolerance in the modern sense just means not beating the disordered kids with a ruler anymore, because they can't help but be disordered, it doesn't mean actually accepting their disordered identities.
