You know the one that is getting posted a lot recently. Its some blonde girl beating up a non blonde girl. I havent seen the anime, and quite frankly, i have no desire to see something so horrible.
I find it sick/ill that its popular but i also think this reflects well on the human condition.
Humans crave violence. I know i crave to be roughed up a lil bit. But generally speaking humans can be divided into two categories, those who want to hurt, and those who want to be hurt.
In ancient Rome humans celebrated people being tore to pieces, yet in the modern age we think we are so much better yet i remember not long ago it was a popular past time for certain people to browse liveleak as a hobby.
Violence is ingrained into the human psyche it seems. The only saving grace is that at least one can divide into those two groups right?
Well if only it were so simple.
At the base of our nature we truly are nothing better than monkies, all the beauty the love the art the altruistic compassion is a result of a system we gained that is outside of the natural order, an ability is far superior to our base animalistic selves but that is nonetheless a part of us.
We are awful violent monkies capable of great and beautiful human things.
We are not humans capable of awful and violent monkey actions
