blood tests are much more important with bica than any other blocker due to liver function.
but, despite you needing blood tests for liver function it's also paradoxically much harder to accurately gauge from blood tests or just in general if your bica dosage is successfully getting your T down to a good level because of how bica itself works
cypro is a better choice imo if you take it at an appropriate dosage and only do it short-term (e.g., like a year or two until you switch to injections)

>doesnt cypro have worse liver toxicity
bica is more known to cause severe liver problems at >hrt level dosages< and that's why it's recommended to do liver enzyme testing for at least a year after starting. the same isn't recommended for cypro because most reported cases of hepatoxicity from cypro is from how it's used for prostate cancer and other things, where you're taking 100-300mg dosage daily
at 12.5mg, how much is recommended for hrt, the risk of even slightly elevated liver enzymes is almost nil.
