Not my call, but I would suggest it is based on potential risk.
I'm not going to go down the dumbass arguments of "trans people are inherently stronger than women" rabbit hole, but there is a distinct difference between the likes of that Hunter person and some huge, hairy, beefy 6'5" "woman" sporting a full beard that has been harassing women in a bar all night.

in the US there is almost 4x as many AFAB non binary than AMAB non binary, most probably don't even transition or if they do, they do the supid "Microdosing" and look like women while complaining about being lumped in with women

I can see it, as the product of deep depression where you don't engage in any self-care. Been there. But when you're in that depressed kind of mood you're probably not in public in the first place, and you're definitely not in the mood for the confrontation and stares using the women's bathroom would bring.
