No that would be a really sad and disturbing book to read I presume. Let me just skip to the part where I know that trans women face an absurd amount of injustice and pain in prisons and then advocate for prison reform including sending trans inmates to appropriate facilities without the part where I inflict the pain of perspective upon myself

Maybe trans women shouldn't commit crimes if they don't want to get raped in jail? like what are we sympathizing here

The punishment is jail, rape is just abhorrent cruelty that doesnโ€™t belong in a penitentiary system. Americans generally have always been far to blasรฉ about rape occurring in our prison system, especially considering how many unjust laws and false imprisonments we have.

Rape is apart of the cycle of life, if anything it's the strongest deterrent of ending up back in jail. It's a force of good. Father card preached this

The book is advice for trans women in prison, not a description of what happens there mainly

Maybe you shouldn't assume that a "justice" system which doesn't investigate police murders of trans women, and lets criminal presidents off the hook while harassing Latino immigrant farmworkers, is an honest arbitrator of morality?

You mean the ones that ran an underaged sex brothel that killed dozens of underaged women with tainted drugs?

This. The American justice system is rooted in slave catchers and its dedication to property protection is still felt to this day.
That time I got shot at I remember seeing the cops drive right past the guy and they didnt do a single thing despite him going like 80 in a residential area, and I still havent heard a single thing from them since. But one were to rob a store, you can bet your ass the cops will be down your throat immediately.
Look at the treatment of Luigi Mangione and compare it to any other murder and you'll immediately know what theyre about. It was one man but the state when questioned must come down with absolutely unequal force to discourage copycats and discussion.
I think Luigi is perfect proof that the American state is capital.

If the state truly cared about stopping illegal immigration and not just keeping wages low, and creating a forever problem that can just farm votes from a populace that is provided an enemy to place their problems on to then they would just go after employers instead of individual immigrants.

Oh yeah they would also legalize drugs. Doing these two things would solve this problem that has been an issue for what? Two decades now overnight. It would gut the cartels, and would practically end illegal immigration. I am not saying I agree with either of these things, nor do I claim to be an all knowing sage that would know all the after effects of this, but its the only two true solutions to these problems, so either take them or shut the fuck up.
