The idea that any of these cis people are gonna help us at stands is laughable. Trans people largely aren't fucking prepared to fight properly. Too many tankies and nihilists who don't understand Stonewall, let alone what really happens in any almost any demonstration historically that has created change. They don't understand sacrifice. They don't understand struggle. Matter of fact, I'm a bit like that myself and its only by chance I found a couple people to keep my head on straight. Most people are fucking dumb as duplo block bricks. I have absolutely no faith that it is going to get better but there's also nothing I can do because I have my own shit to protect and work with now anyway. Hands are tied; I can't be a martyr and if I was one, I'd need to do some extensive calculations to make that work. No one is prepared for this. Those that are suffering the most tend to be truscum anyway, probably identify as straight women, and pass far harder than some mid town girl living in the city like me ever could hope to.

Of course when people DO try to "keep up with poltiics" they don't put enough work in and/or have never done anything like volunteering or any other kind of real work to try to improve things, so they end up watching garbage like CNN, Fox News.
