It has interesting concepts that it seems to want to bury under entire novellas worth of character dialogue between people you'll end up hating. there is a lot of exposition, and the cool action or visual stuff becomes more and more scant towards the middle which is where most people stop reading

you will get more out of playing undertale/deltarune than this.
