Dysphoria is a western myth created by the medical profession to serve a narrative about pathologizing transness and limiting how many people got meds for it. In many cultures ppl will just be like I meditated and realized I had a female Chakra so I got a sex change. Or I had a dream I was a woman when it came time for the ritual of ascending to manhood in my tribe so the shaman said it mean ti was a woman. And then people transition guilt free.

The reason we have dysphoria in the west is because we're really preoccupied with religious guilt and we have this scammy health insurance syatem where doctors are all powerful gatekeepers of every medical treatment. You don't need to be depressed or suicidal or sick to want to be a woman it's just who you are. Dysphoria is a byproduct of capitalism and artificial scarcity of basic medicine.
