I knew I'd lose some strength after starting estrogen, but I didn't realize it would sneak up on me so much. I'm still boymoding and I have to do occasional lifting at my job when we need boxes of paperwork moved into the storage closet.
I had to do this recently and I tried to make it look like I was picking it up easily but it felt like everyone was watching me and one of the warehouse guys that was in the office right then came over to help me with the box. They had a different guy help move the second box and I haven't gotten asked to help move stuff again.

Am I cooked? Like one of the office ladies keeps making me take my glasses off bc she says my face looks different and I'm worried how much longer I can keep up the boymoder. I just want to milk a paycheck out of this job to save for surgery a little longer before starting over in my new identity in a new place, but it feels like my plan is falling apart bc people are starting to notice stuff.

it's crazy, right? i feel like i lost all my upper body strength. it's validating in a pathetic loser way though.....

hrt can make your face more and more feminine, but even when that happens, people will only start gendering you as a woman if you get a haircut and voice train. if not they'll just think you're a pretty/feminine boy. but people who know you will probably start to explicitly notice changes

They will notice that you look different, but hrt is the last thing they will think about as a reason for why
If someone asks you about your appearance you can always deny any changes, say you lost some weight or that you use a different skin care routine.

i used to do a ground based martial art, and i was never very strong, but a normal man absolutely could not pin me down securely without a real fight. i'm 7 months on hrt and now my gf can do it barely trying

i don't work out much but it's definitely possibly real

gets paid for a manual labor job moving boxes around, doesn't have to move boxes all the men volunteer to do their job freely. office secretaries baby them.
apex gigaluckshit

in a few more months will probably be sugar baby for the boss.

I've been growing my hair out so that's a factor too. I should probably cut it if I'm gonna keep boymoding since it's long enough I need to tie it back now, but the idea of cutting it makes me want to cry so I haven't yet.

I told them I stopped drinking soda, then went to my desk and finished off my sprite really fast before someone could see it.
>>40449424
I sit at a desk all day at work and home. The box moving thing comes up like once a month at most, if that often, so I go pretty long times without needing to see how my muscles are doing.

I used to do boxing in highschool so I've had a sense that I'm strong in the back of my head most of my life so it feels really weird now when I see signs I'm not.

I don't move boxes often, it's just since I'm the only "guy" in the office whenever moving stuff around in the office comes up they just got me to do it out of convenience.
The office ladies are weird because I feel like we're all friends and I like talking to them but then half the time I get this feeling they think I'm gay? Which I guess from their perspective I would be, but I'm trying to pass as cishet for while I'm boymoding.
I am living in a very conservative place though so this might all sound like it's good but I'm boymoding for a reason and I kinda suspect maliciousness behind a lot of the oddity.

If they talk to you they do, like this girl that always started conversations with me, it was so weird as she was married, then she did a favor to me, office stuff I couldn't fix, thanked her and said "we are here to support each other" and some weird girl emoji lmao.

DO NOT CUT IT

every trans woman who does this "before they're ready to girlmode" regrets it. if you really want you can style longer hair in boyish ways

is this luckshittery?? i also used to do martial arts and i was warming up one day about the nine months into boymoding and literally could not lift myself off the floor after ten push-ups. i was able to do upwards of thirty at once prior. it was ridiculously precipitous

isn't even necessarily muscle loss, right, like just the shift in hormonal profile heavily affects strength idk if it's really a luckshit thing

I've found that transitioning does make you significantly weaker, but the fact that men will just offer to help you whenever you're visibly struggling to lift something offsets it

if it's possible, you need to just keep working out to try and build muscle mass

>>40450798
exercise, probably. i've been working out lately to rebuild some muscle and i've gone from five push-ups at a time to eight in just a week so progress has not been too slow. you're still early so maybe you can get ahead of it
