What's the ideal body type for a trans woman?
Underweight? Somewhere in the normal weight range? Overweight?

okay but do that over 20+ years, not 1 or 5.
pick 5 years, do i want to gain or cut for this next 5 years part of life? and have a max weight limit that you will not go over no matter what.
if your humming on estradiols you should definitely be eating good if you want shape. or dont if you dont.

Sounds like men like a BMI just above underweight. However, I don't think trans women necessarily wear that super low weight well with their male skeleton?

You can easily gain and lose a lot a weight within a year or two. You yourself have to choose what weight works best. It's going to be different for everyone but losing and gaining weight is a must at first.

When I decide to gain weight I blow up like a balloon and when I decide to lose weight it falls like a feather.

You can try welfare and snap if you cant find a decent job. White trash never have trouble getting fat but thats still a reasonable excuse.

desu it probably depends on height. Short people have more "feminine" traits like q-angle so they'd need a lower bmi to be shapely than a taller trans woman

probably something like 22.7 bmi, like the chart says. i somehow reached that years ago and i looked awesome but i've been stuck at like 19.5 for years :( nowadays i'm barely ever even hungry and it just hurts so badly to eat after a certain point
i'm trying to build muscle now so i am hoping that will make me hungrier and just look nicer in general. i am only one week in so we shall see.

upper end of normal range works well for me. my ribcage and shoulders prevent me from being able to look normal at a lower weight, below BMI 22 i just have twinky build. rn i'm BMI 24 with 0.71 WHR and look way more proportional, trying to recomp rn but no longer attempting to lose weight. pio was a godsend, allowed me to gain weight without getting a huge male gut.
