Depends where you live.
My first hrt provider pushed them on me every chance she got. Every provider I have had after her did not even think they were a realistic option or readily available.

You should just try getting on injections however.
Implants have a ton of downsides towards the end of their use life that you do not really have to worry about with injections.

Prescription injections on a monotheraphy plan.
They are expensive, but are actually available in Australia if you are willing to seek out an endo that is focused on mtf stuff.

Yep.
They are actually a really good option for like ~4-5 months. But once you start getting towards the end of its life, you need to get a bunch of bloods done in order to track the drop off and plan on when it needs to be replaced.
As someone that dreads getting her bloods done and still cries during them, there is no way I would be able to stand implants.

blood tests don't bother me i was more concerned about potential difficulties with organising an appointment if you don't know exactly when you need to get it inserted.

Well if you do not live in either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne then you are basically not going to have any luck. They are pretty damn rare and AUSpath providers will never tell you about them since these endos do not subscribe to the AUSpath guidelines. They also have horrible waiting times for appointments.
The best you can do is just systematically look through every single endo near you and maybe try talking to other mtfs around where you live to see if anyone knows one.

Then implants may actually be a pretty solid option for you.
Almost certainly cheaper then what injections will set you back anyhow.
