If there's one thing that reactionaries are right about, it's that liberals are pretty culturally dominant, even if they're definitely not politically dominant. Lots of zoom zooms are right wing for the same reason that we were edgy atheists or socialists or whatever else: it's counter cultural and it pisses of their parents. They're racist and transphobic for the same reason I listened to Dimmu Borgir as a kid, basically. It was never that serious for a lot of them, and I'm not surprised lots of them don't like what they bought now that they own it.
