I think it's probably wrong to believe anyone on here who says I pass. and even worse to believe my friends when they it.
I used to believe I passed. I used to malefail so much. but when you girlmode constant malefailing turns into pity passing.

If cis strangers gender you correctly 99% of the time, then you pass. Anybody in your personal life can be biased one way or another.

there's probably truth in it.
doesn't mean you're perfect, it's good to have something to strive for.
as an anecdote, my ex used to tell me i passed fine & that i didn't need to nitpick myself to pieces about my appearance; but i kinda snapped back about how i only got as far as i did with that nitpicking.
ive changed alot since then, i don't consider how i looked then as passing conpared to now, & i still nitpick now, but i just approach it with a reframed light of self improvement.
