We used wide rubber bands (absolutely has to be wide, the narrow ones will cut off too much circulation) just tight enough until her penis was slightly less warm than the rest of her body. You also want a slight color change. It's so subtle that you kind of have to know what to look for. If it's cold to the touch, you are too tight. If it's purple, it's too tight.

You'll want to find a band that hugs the base of your penis, but doesn't trench into the skin too much.

Then in the morning we did the behavioral exercises with the band still on, then I would take it off for the day.
