if you keep your lips puckered inwards when you do your makeup, they'll retain their natural color. and if you go for a paler complexion they'll pop naturally.

i dont like using heavy makeup and lips is one of the hardest things to get right.

you should probably start just by using your fingertip on the lipstick and gently rubbing it in to your lip and then dabbing your lip to remove the excess to test the color/contrast.

getting lips right is one of the more challenging parts of makeup.

if you already have plump lips you can just pucker them inward when working around them with makeup and it'll keep them from getting collecting powders etc. which can make them look smaller. and then they naturally pop with your natural color anyways.

i personally dont like to too much.

better to use a nude like color and you can take your brow pencils like a brown 1 and gently fill in your lip line and if you do it gently enough it adds like . more to your lip and makes it seem fuller and shortens your philtrum a little.
but its touchy, cause that line can pop out if you do it too much, so really gentle touch up where its barely anything. you just want to create the illusion of lip flesh. not some pencil line.
unless you are doing some exaggerated drag.

oh and also.. dont fuck with your bottom lip so much. just the center meaty part of it.
and focus on exaggerating and filling in the top lip to make it slightly fuller.


imo its a harder thing to get right than doing glam eyes

youtube, cheap af makeup to practice with you should start with like cheap stuff like dollar store, level cheap just to get familiar with what things do. ,going to good beauticians for a few glow ups and studying what they do, doing things in a particular order/methodology to save time.
once you learn what the product does, then buy better makeup and it's so much better than cheap shit. but you'll already have the techniques down if you can work with the cheap stuff.
and then its alot of bronzer and contouring and learning how to create illusion to give your face different shapes and appear smaller or rounded.
and some products can be used for a variety of things in a pinch. like i have a pink eye shadow i dont like to use on my eyes, but i can blend it in to my cheeks and it works nice and gives me a porcelain white and pink sweet candy look. when blended in.

and if your a boymoder just be like "founding fathers powdered their face! and wore tights! and wigs! and fucked up the greatest western empire at that time!" etc lol
if you need plausible deniability, just pretend your larping like one of them lol

its really easy to learn makeup, and it can be stressful at times. probably $50 is enough to get you started for a few months if you're new and buy cheap things to play with. get a nice set of brushes too they help alot.
LESS is MORE usually. for natural looks, unless you want to go full glam and drag then do it up lol

one of the make it or break it last things is liquid eyeliner... if you get your face nice and then smudge liquid eyeliner.. lol. you'll see. it SUCKS. like WTF. it can ruin your whole look so easily..
so i recommend skipping liquid eyeliner and just practicing the basics or only practicing liquid eyeliner.
usually you can get a more natural look and the same fullness without it with other products. with less risk of ruining all that effort with smudges.
