Is trans immutable? Seems like people just cite fmri studies which are useless for this kinda thing. Otherwise there's no reason to assume that it's like being gay which is immutable because it's not sexual attraction.

no, experiencing gender dysphoria is a choice to be sexist so others will like you more
acting out stereotypes of the opposite sex doesn't make you a moral person

If it were mutable, why would anyone choose to have dysphoria?

well being mutable doesn't mean you choose to have it. just that it's changeable, like changing from being trans and dysphoria to not having it

DTI isn't FMRI you absolute fucking moron, it just uses the same type of scanner but does a completely different procedure. Besides nobody links that study. Fuck off and read more instead of making shit up.

why so mad anon? gender identity is different from sexual orientation, and sexual orientation is pretty well established that its immutable, but is gender identity also so well established? I'm asking. People use brain scan studies to say that trans people are more like the gender they transition into as evidence that bwing trans is immutable. I'm asking if that is really good evidence? You tell me

Idk about you but I had to come out explicitly using the word transgender like 12 times total from ages 8-19 to my parents to have it even acknowledged, and the acknowledgement was not great, and I was homeless within a year of them actually acknowledging it. They were... alright? With me being gay though and certianly wouldnt have made me homeless over it.
So do tell me where the validation here is because I sure as fuck am not seeing any.

this makes no sense at all, why would you accept one set of reasoning or justification for understanding and exploring sexuality but reject it for sexual identity? you're fuckin dumb
