its incredibly easy just look at your body and weight every single day. i usually spent most of my day looking in reflections in passing cars or whatever and that + dysphoria + cis girls forever mogging me made me feel gross enough to not eat more than 700 kcal a day for about 7-9 months

went from 170 to 140lbs its proven to work nona

idk when i was anamaxxing i found a really good strategy which is basically gaslighting yourself into believing all food was secretly laced with testosterone. its extremely effective if you can pull it off and not overdo it

Aggressive crash dieting is unlikely to work long term. Slow, sustainable weight loss by lifestyle and diet changes will work. Exercise more. What helps me isn't thinking about "ohh god I need to less" - I think instead "oh boy I'm getting healthier, I need to eat *more* fruits and delicious vegetables, *more* homemade food" so I think less about what I'm giving up.

Also just stop drinking, if you're a regular alcohol drinker cutting that shit out will absolutely put a dent in your daily cals

Make every meal a salad. You can do those crazy late 90's grocery store salad bar things, where the lettuce is just an excuse for a pile of shredded cheese and croutons and bacon bits, and it'll still be healthier than eating a normal meal plus the fiber will fill you up.

you'd do it if you wanted to. it isn't actually hard to diet, you just don't care enough.
but the best advice is to just stop thinking about it and do it. make it not an option. every time you start thinking of any other action other than continuing to diet, immediately remove that thought from your head. because it is ridiculous, it makes no sense. you HAVE to diet. once you have this mindset, it will be impossible for you to stop. the only way you will is if you allow yourself to think you can.

It seems like a lot because of the pile of lettuce under it, but it's not.
And even if OP somehow made an 800 calorie salad with a disgusting amount of salad dressing and toppings, it's objectively better (fewer calories, better nutrition, or both) than eating any of the following things:
- half a frozen pizza
- two microwave burritos
- literally any fast food "meal" consisting of a sandwich, fried side, and sugary drink
- a plate of pasta
- two barebones grilled cheese sandwiches
