are ipls worth using or just a meme? i'm tired of shaving every single week, it's way too time consuming, and there's always these black dots in my legs and face that are probably ingrown hair. my mom has a very expensive one so i might try that

Get real laser treatment. IPLs break fast and work poorly.

They don't work. You need a Candela machine, it's the most effective one.

Expensive but 100% worth it.

yea i think that's what it's called. my mom got one of these. it takes up an entire room and makes her legs smooth, she bought it like ten years ago and i remember it took her a lot of time to pay for the entire thing, but i think it worked really well for her

You could also just pay for pro laser and it would be much cheaper than a candela machine lmao

Go somewhere that uses a candela machine. I went, and I now can go outside with 0 make up, and get compliments.

It requires semi regular top ups. I'm getting some sessions, and have 2 year to top up, body and face.

I got the IPL Braun one. Bought in in 2020, still works. It DEFINITELY works on body hair. You just have to be consistent with it, at least 2x a week. It's gotten rid of my arm hair and stomach hair completely and I'm not on hrt either.

It works pretty poorly on facial hair though. It made my littlebhairless areas on my cheek area and side burns but no effect on my mustache and chin hairs.

Yeah, it shocks me even though its relatively common. People stop me to compliment me.

Walked past one guy and he pulled down his sunglasses to stare, and his mouth hung open. Every single time i think "are they looking because I'm a disgusting, hideous tranny"

He might have. But then where I live has lots of crackheads and weirdos, so I'm not that unusual. I honestly can't tell. I get upset when people state, I feel like asking them why they are looking
