Use a basic cleanser once or twice a day for your face. Something like cerave. If cleansing twice per day dries your skin out too much, then wash once with the cleanser then once with just lukewarm water. Try not to shower with hot water, keep it a little warmer than lukewarm. A washcloth/loofah can be good as a mechanical exfoliant for your body, jsut make sure you throw them in the wash once or twice per week and don't be too rough with them. Also don't use them on your face. Get an exfoliant specifically for your face and use it a couple times per week, again, be gentle with it. Generally you exfoliate before cleansing, but either way is fine.

After you shower, try not to be too rough drying your skin with your towel. Just gently pat your face dry, keeping a little moisture. Apply a toner with a makeup pad if you feel like you need to remove any excess oil from your face or need extra hydration, but it's not entirely necessary. You'll want to use a moisturizer specifically formulated for your face. Nothing too fancy is needed here, use something like cerave or cetaphil is good.

The most important element for skincare is sunscreen, however there won't be any immediate results. It will just prevent twinkdeath or looking like a hag in your late 20's or early 30's. If you've ever noticed some women looking like hags in their 30's then this is why. Plus it will also help prevent skin cancer. I prefer sunscreens that are not mixed with moisturizers since you're supposed to reapply sunscreen throughout the day and not do the same with moisturizers. Too much moisturizer will just clog ur pores.

Retinols/retinoids are also very effective, except they make your skin very sensitive to the sun and further necessitate regular sunscreen use. Retinoids (like tretinoin) generally require a prescription depending on where you live. These accelerate the skin renewal cycle and can help with mild acne (not cystic acne), hyperpigmentation, some types of acne scars, and prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

I've used both prescription and non-prescription and have had great results. Adapaline gel (generic retinol) works great for me and is pretty cheap too. There is a bit of a break-in period where it can make your skin worse before it gets better (google tretinoin purge for more info). If you're gonna go down this road, you'd wanna avoid any cleansers with harsh chemicals like salicylic acid , benzoyl peroxide, or any AHAs/BHAs. You will want to avoid exfoliating your face during this period, and maybe skip the cleanser if your skin is too dry. Maybe just wash with water during the purging period. This can last anywhere between 1-2 weeks to 1-2 months depending on the strength.

Also, do NOT get any microneedling done if you're taking a prescription retinoid. This will fuck up your skin and most estheticians won't even ask if you're taking something like tretinoin before they do this.

That's all I got off the top of my head anon. Maybe also try exercise and a healthy diet if you're not doing that already. Sorry if I sound retarded.

Benzoyl Peroxide 10%.

Apply water to your face where there's acne. Then while it's wet, use your hands to rub the benzoyle proxide on your face over the acne for a minute. Then do something to occupy your time for a bit like brushing your teeth. Then rinse it off.
Do this 2x a day and you'll notice results within a few days and you'll wonder if your acne is cured within a couple weeks (sadly it won't be)
