>>40504550steroid induced osteoporosis; drs prescribed too much prednisone during/after my many hospitalizations for my ulcerative colitis; it was to stop my intestines bleeding; i needed many blood transfusions i lost so much
obamacare wouldnt cover the expensive specialty medicines that would have stopped my disease early on; instead i had to fail multiple 30-50yr old drugs first; wasting a whole year; plus i couldnt see a specialist until after i was already hospitalized because we couldnt afford it and my local clinic i went to for occasional colds etc was not equipped tp deal with a complicated serious condition like that; plus they were understaffed and totally overrun because i lived in the slums in sacramento from 2007-2021
4 yrs after the bleeding started; probably 10 or so hospitalizations (including one that was 2 full months in 2018 where they gave me cyclosporine; likely the nail in my spine's coffin)
about 6 weeks after i went home from the 2mo stay in 2018 i fractured my spine fixing my bed sheets because my mom refused to help me and i had asked her for 2 weeks
picrel xray art of my spine
it looks much worse in visible light from the outside
basically it stick out as much as good sized breasts would; but its on my back; and its my spine; permanently deformed; very painful everyday; ill have to take pain medicine for the rest of my life; already taken hydrocodone for almost 10 years even before the fractures because my abdominal pain and diarhrea was so severe from the UC; it would feel like i was hit full force with a baseball bat; or even a chainsaw or something in some cases
im basically helpless and i can barely walk; all my joints are messed up badly too from EDS and self harming over my previous love in 2022/2023
i do have a little wheelchair but i only need it occasionally
hrt likely puts me at greater risk of another fracture (goddess forbid i ever have a full fall) but ill never stop it; being myself is too important
