basic rundown:
richard pusey, who now identifies as female, was driving 90 in a 60 zone - gets pulled over by cops - 4 of them - he goes to pee in the bushes - truck driver who was exhausted, high on meth, and felt he was being chased by witches crashes into the emergency lane where his car was - he is uninjured because he was peeing in the bushes - four cops die - he records them dying while insulting them

10 months in jail - apparently not just for filming it but for sending photos of the cops dying to his insurance company after they denied a 2 mil payout.

But on Wednesday, judicial registrar Domenico Conidi threw out the case, saying in the 16 months since, Pusey had failed to progress the case.

“You have failed, to date, on six separate occasions to file a compliant affidavit so that the matter could progress,” Mr Conidi said.

“You have had ample opportunity to address this … As far as I’m concerned Ms Pusey, it ends today.”

“Please don’t misgender me,” Pusey responded before clarifying she was not sure if Mr Conidi had said Mr or Ms.

the truck driver was high on meth and delusional - thought he was being chased by witches - he is going away for 22 years
the porsche driver was high on ecstasy and she did not claim to see witches - she said she wanted to be home to eat sushi - filmed the aftermath of the cops getting hit by a truck - and was sentenced to 10 months for perverting decency or some other rare charge that hadn't been prosecuted in Victoria since 1963. It's kinda hard to figure out EXACTLY what happened. Also she was basically sentenced to time served but apparently is still in custody for other charges - but they don't explain why.

Richard Pusey, a 42-year-old mortgage broker, had earlier pleaded guilty to a rare charge of outraging public decency over his commentary in crash scene videos shot with his phone. It was the first time the charge had been prosecuted in Australia’s Victoria state since 1963.

The most serious charge he admitted to was reckless conduct endangering persons, which carried a potential maximum sentence of five years in prison.

you have a duty to provide aid in cases of motor accidents in Victoria or if you have a duty of care which you assume with first aid training that basically everyone with a job (and any cunt on centrelink) will probably get at some point. still its a big fuck you to the guy, they typically wouldn't charge anyone with failure to render assistance unless they were a doctor or EMT or something when bodies are mangled so thoroughly although the duty to render assistance does exist.
