Im a 15 yo tranny from an eastern europe shithole and i was wondering if there is still hope i wont be a hon. I was thinking of moving somewhere like coppenhagen or oslo after highschool and starting law school and go into journalism but realized how a troon journalist would be seen. Therefore i wanted to know if the minimum wage there can also cover hrt. Is there anything i can do or should i kill myself?

are you in the EU at least? honestly the west isn't all it's cracked up to be as someone who lived there for years, people still struggle a lot there especially on low incomes. you can have a pretty decent (arguably even better) life in some eastern EU countries if you pass which if you're a teenager you more than likely still can if you transition soon. i don't know much about scandinavia but the little i've heard would suggest denmark and norway are not exactly the most open places for immigrants (also norway isn't in the EU so idk how easy it is to move there), though quality of life seems good compared to the rest of europe. of course idk where you live, if by "eastern europe" you mean czech republic or poland i'd say stay put and try to move to a bigger city, if by "eastern europe" you mean belarus or ukraine it's a different story.

yeah i also wouldn't suggest journalism as a career, tough times for wordcels. even when i was in uni most people i knew who studied journalism couldn't get jobs as journalists and ended up doing something else and this was the best part of a decade ago. in particular if you want to move somewhere like scandinavia or the other high-income european countries you really need to have a skillset that's in demand, they don't want more unskilled immigrants. do also bear in mind that law tends to tie you down to one country because legal systems and languages differ between countries so choosing to study law in a place you haven't actually visited is a pretty big decision.

100% this.
Plus seafaring countries like Denmark and Norway have awful law systems, because they kept changing them all throughout history to be able to trade with everyone and everything.
Maybe being a teacher is the best bet for OP. It's not really profitable, but it's flexible enough to be able to work in an unknown country.

Are you on HRT? Also why go into law school to do journalism? Do you want to be a journalist on legal matters? Else just study journalism no?

we don't know that OP lives in poland and while its economy is better than it used to be it's still a pretty conservative place, i sort of understand lgbt people wanting to get out there. the last time the EU surveyed people on what they think of various minorities 26% of poles said they'd be uncomfortable working with a trans person and 22% said they'd be uncomfortable working with a gay or lesbian person. the EU averages for these are 15% and 12% respectively. every ex-commie country except the czech republic came out more anti-lgbt than the EU average in this survey. it's fine in day to day life if you're a passoid but still not the easiest place. worth remembering that poland is also more exposed to the russia-ukraine conflict and the migrant crisis than most places in europe.

in general anything that requires national accreditation of some sorts isn't a great idea if you want to be geographically flexible. unless it's something that a lot of countries lack, like say nurses and even then you'll still have to get your qualifications recognised and so on.

It's possible to go legal in eastern europe. If your parents are supportive they could give you permission to start HRT before 18.
