I’m new to all this, I don’t know what the hell I’m doing most of the time. But I want to try anal this week with a guy for the first time and read that an enema is highly recommended.

So I look it up to find out what I’m supposed to do and I can’t find anything other than basic generic (it’s good to use lube if you do an enema) type of information. Nothing on what to do, what not to do etc.

So I go to my doctor and even she was like I don’t need one unless I’m constipated.

So how do I do this? What do I use? I’ve seen big red enemas that you hang, little handheld ones, the kind like in the OP image and more, no clue what the difference is or pros and cons.

I’ve also heard of coffee enemas, water enemas, laxative ones and more. No clue which one to use or how to do it. Do I use water that is sterile, tap water, distilled water, mineral water?

As I guy I’m really looking forward to trying anal, I read it’s common especially on the first time to cum hands free harder than I ever have.

Sorry for such a noob question, but any resources advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

>here are my specific tips
-go to the bathroom right before you clean yourself out
-use lots of lube (applies to sex too). if it hurts at all, use more lube
-SUPER IMPORTANT, especially if you're using a shower: unless you plan to get fisted or go for hours, only allow the water to flow for up to 5 seconds
so, press the bulb for 5 seconds or let the shower flow for 5 seconds, max. I count them off in my head
if you go longer, the water can go too far into your intestines and trigger a full bowel release, which will require a much longer cleaning
-the guide I gave you says to do this all in the shower and let the yuck go down the drain. I have NO earthly idea why it suggests this; emptying into the toilet, then rising briefly off the toilet to insert the nozzle again then sit back onto the toilet to repeat, is easiest and least gross in my experience, a you have a tiny bit of cleanup but not much
note your results may vary because we have different digestion
-don't do it more often than once a week, for the most part
I cleaned out twice in one weekend once because I was with my bf and we were horny, that was probably okay but doing that often is not advisable
-WATER ONLY EVER! never ever ever soap or any medicine
-keep going until the water's clear. this is why emptying into the toilet helps; often when the water seems clear, there will still be small flakes of yuck
it doesn't take long, in my experience 10-15 flushes max, usually 2-3 enema bottle fills
