I recently started DIY-ing estrogen monotherapy as it's something I've thought about for a long time (few years atp, currently I'm 20). I'm really not far in (2 weeks, 6 days). And I've been pleased to note that I haven't had any facial acne problems as well as regaining complete control over my libido, which is nice. But I've been thinking that in order to feel completely comfortable I'd probably also want to order anti androgens, which would cut any testosterone production down to null. I've been thinking about deciding whether or not I want kids in my future. I have a very strong feeling that they would be better than me in many ways but I'm uncertain on whether I should go all the way in my transition (like inevitably getting orchi) or I should just keep this as a temporary fun experimental thing I do (like a year, year and 1/2) then later de-trans if I actually find someone.

>regaining complete control over my libido
What does this mean. Has your libido gone up or down?
>probably also want to order anti androgens, which would cut any testosterone production down to null
No need. Monotherapy will adequately suppress T.

Bascially my individual perfect life would be transitioning and just staying that way vs having a child that could continue and substantially improve upon my legacy

mtf, down quite a bit
>Monotherapy will adequately suppress T
I'm paranoid since I can't schedule a blood test but maybe I should just trust

You can do both if you get your sperm banked.
Further, in nearly all cases fertility can be restored using a special regimen for 3 months, even without completely detransitioning.

Damn.
Bad news for me because I'm considering HRT, but I don't wanna lose my libido or erectile function. >.<

Too broke for sperm banking, IIRC it costs hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
>I don't wanna lose my libido or erectile function
I haven't lost it completely, it's just I don't randomly get urges anymore. It's more so on my own terms and I still have that functionality

It is a high initial cost followed by a roughly $100-300/yr storage cost.
If you can't afford it now, restoring fertility later is burdensome, but it has a fairly high success rate.

I'm not going to be able to afford that without a loan or something. Im funneling all my money into moving out at the moment.
