What is there to tell? They thought HRT would transform them, but then kept drinking, doing drugs, working labor or kitchen, staying up late playing games, being bitter hons on 4chan all day. Some never could get comfortable with social transition, or neglected much needed appointments. Convincing themselves that skincare and presentation were all tools of the patriarchy's oppression. Some even detransed and retransed.
There are so many different ways to become a trans fuckup after starting out thinking life owes you a happy ending. If you're not prepared to do the work and weather some storms then you really end up not much better than a repper.
Even early on I knew that a lot of old hons had trouble securing a steady supply of HRT over the years so I made damn sure nothing would catch me off guard. I have no sympathy for people that hard fumble a good opportunity, but it happens quite often.
