Anyone who believes this is delusional. I transitioned knowing full well it would be harder to live as a woman than a man, and it is. I mean obviously I still prefer it because now I’m not in mental anguish or whatever but the way people treat you is worse. Men sexually harass you and don’t take you seriously, you have to be more on edge walking at night, beauty standards are so crazy you’re bound to get body image issues no matter how good you look. Honestly the only big upside is that it’s easier to talk to other women as a woman. On the other hand interacting with men becomes a lot more confusing cause of weird heterosexual norms, but at least some of them think I’m hot now which is a big plus
