Sometimes I think it'd be nice to befriend trans women as a cis woman since we tend to have a lot of similar interests, like anime and games, but they seem to only keep to their trans women friends. Why is this?

I would be friends with a cis woman just because a lot of trans women can be a bit weird. But a lot of cis women who are okay with trans women are a bit weird and chaser-y too. So idk.

lots of reasons but mostly because with tranners theres less explaining to do and more shared experience

In my (irl) experience (with normies) most cis people fucking hate us and subconsciously see us as gross abominations, both men and women. When I make cis friends I just don't tell them I am trans.

Having meaningful friendships with normies is pointless. If they know you are a tranny they'll say the most hideous things behind your back as progressive as they insist they are, and if you are stealth then it's impossible to be honest with people from the get go.

The only option is to only be friends with turbo autists which they are hard to find irl.

This comes off as so schizophrenic I don’t even know what to say, maybe it’s different where you live and your generation I guess but most of my friends are cis women including my close friends group of over a decade and none of them are like this. Can I ask if you at least tried before giving up?
