Just macaroons really, don’t like heavy sweets. they’re actually very straightforward and delicious if you don’t get hung up on how they’re “supposed”’ to look. This is not lgbt commentary

Something odd, tasted somewhat sweeter than normal dough/bread, soft and slightly flakey kinda like whatever they use to make croissants. It was delicious though.

yeah! i bake chocolate chip cookies often, from my brother’s recipe that he made like 3 times and now calls mine. they’re my go-to when i feel the need to bring something to a party. i also make some pretty good chocolate lava cakes. i’ve only made them for my family and my ex though, one day i wanna make some for my friends. i want to make breads and such at some point too, but i don’t think i have a dutch oven and don’t wanna half ass it. some one offs were sugar cookies to use my pochita cookie cutter, pumpkin chiffon pie, which i kinda fucked up because i made it while i was high out of my mind, and raspberry palmiers, which i made for my mom for some holiday (i don’t remember if it was mother’s day, valentine’s day, or her birthday)

mostly sourdough bread, seitan, chickpea farinata, semolina pasta (you don't bake that, but it's dough, so w/e). I don't like that much sweet stuff, but I will occasionally bake oat protein cake that I eat with yogurt and berries and also I like making clafoutis as an easy desert that isn't too sweet for me. trying to lose weight rn so not baking so much as I used to.

i kinda made it up as I went along but I can try to remember

wet:
1/4 cup tahini
1/4 cup honey
1.5 bananas, mashed up into tahini and honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
up to 1/4 cup water or milk as needed if texture too dry

dry:
1.5 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup oat bran
1/2 cup leftover granola I wanted to use up
3 scoops vanilla protein powder with artificial sweetener
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder

mix it all together. add the extra water/milk if way too dry. i made this attempting to make granola bars, so its pretty dry and best eaten like a strawberry shortcake with wet stuff like yogurt and milk and berries heaped ontop.

press it really firmly into a baking tray lined with parchment paper so there are no air bubbles and bake at 325F for about 30 mins until the top gets browned. not a great recipe but it came out as 12 pieces for me at 200 cals each with 10g protein and 3.5 g fiber, so not awful macros, esp with yogurt or milk added.
