what's it called when you get really suicidally depressed out of literally nowhere? is this just the nature of being a tranny? i get dysphoria attacks all the time but i usually dont suddenly want to kill myself in the middle of an otherwise completely normal day

sometimes (esp on days like this) i just get violently depressed seemingly in the middle of nowhere. it is crippling. i cant do anything. instantly i lose all motivation and all i can think about is blowing my stupid fucking brains out

My therapist told me to just stop entertaining those thoughts. Learn to recognize when you're falling back into those thoughts patterns, then stop yourself and think about something else. She used a "traffic light" analogy. It's worked wonders for me.
