I got gaybashed tonight.

I stopped in a small town to get dinner, to-go, I sat the bar to wait for my order - nobody else there but me - blond normie local waitress - she wasn't interested at all in what I was talking about - but was polite. I made smalltalk. She says - I'm gonna go check on your order - I bet she told the kitchen I was a flamer fag cuz a MINUTE later I can hear the kitchen staff talking about gays - this guy is loudly going on about how he has "lots of gay friends" but they always hit on him/don't take no for an answer - and at parties they always ask him "why not give it a go" and he hates that.

To those here who claim gayness is kinda accepted now - that has not been my experience. Maybe, in some places they are not directly violent over minor things - but they still see you as an unwanted sexual predator in their midst - and the codification of "heterosexuals" confirms their mental segregation - and they will just be kinda cold to you, seem uncomfortable and be awkward, avoid you, talk behind your back, etc.

I mean yeah, maybe they just *happened* to be talking about gays - but I am obviously a flamer and I was the only person in there - which was weird it was 6pm on a Saturday you think they would have people in there.

That's not a gaybashing, it's not a gaybullying, that's barely even a gayteasing. It's gay-less-than-enthusiastic-service. I get that it's still uncomfortable and you're probably not misreading the vibe, but damn man current-day homophobia is at least leaps and bounds better than what it was two decades ago

I was waiting for the gay bashing part but it never came. It appears zoomer males are just like zoomer females.
