So what options do I actually have as a tranny that can’t pass? I’ve been on hrt for just under a year and i have only malefailed once, I know it’s a short time but my problem lies in the very obviously male structure of my skull.
Seems like the only options I have are manmoding or honmoding, both of which repulse me, I’m really trying my best to pass (voice training, skincare, improving my makeup skills) but it just seems that I was not destined to pass

One year is nothing but brainworks aside:
1. Honmode with honfidence. Ive seen people live normal and reasonably successful lives (both personally and professionally) while being very obviously trans.
2. Andro/enbymode. This can work too if you can accept still in some ways living as a man. Just like with honmode, you have to stop caring what random people may think about you.
3. Manmode/repping on hrt. This is when people still present 100% masc while several years on hrt and are usually paranoid about anyone finding out they're different. This is extrenely bad, and everyone I know of that does this is unhappy.
4. An hero. This is kinda stupid imo since life is already short and the world is always interesting and sometimes funny even if your life sucks.

All in all, 1 year is baby, come back in 3 years or so honeslty and even that might be too early.
Also it depends on where you live and if you can style yourself as a normal person (no going out with a choker and amazon skirt etc), but generally people dont pay much attention to an unpassing tranner. Exception are older boomer women or reeealy low status men. You'd think also children and teenagers but not in my experience.
