any ways to get rid of masseter hypertrophy without botox?

i thought i just have a crazy wide jaw but turns out it’s masseter hypertrophy from a life of abuse and anxiety

i want to get botox but the sudden change will definitely make my parents notice

also i’ve heard it can lead to a more gaunt appearance, so that’s a big worry.
