Recently this has been on my mind mainly because my boyfriend of several years told me he'd like to see me in panties, stockings and other feminine clothes and I'm not sure how to feel about that. He's not pressuring me into anything, he just mentioned it when we were discussing fantasies we have and said he'd like it but understands if I wouldn't be up for it.

Part of me thinks that I'd look hot lol because I'm a thin twink in my early twenties but another part of me will feel greatly emasculated. But I never like it when feminine guys are put down for that because to me that's a plain misogyny or sexism or whatever is the best term to describe it. I'm not feminine but I don't want to care if I did something very feminine. However I think the bigger problem is I'm not sure why a gay man would want to see another men in feminine clothes. I don't want to assume anything but does it mean my boyfriend could be somewhat bi? Or is it not so uncommon for gay guys to like that sort of stuff? I'm sorry for my ignorance, I'm just looking for opinions of gay guys.

To sum it up, what do you think about crossdressing? Do you crossdress or do you have any desire to? Do you like looking at it on another guy? Why? And for those who crossdress, have you done it with a partner and what was their reaction? Are bi guys generally more interested in it than gay guys?

Top here. I like dressing my bottom bf in fem stuff. Part of it is that, unlike you, he enjoys being emasculated and teased somewhat in an erotic context, so I do lean in on it because it's really fun making him blush and squirm.

But for me the main appeal is visual. I don't think it's even a bi thing. People would consider the clothes "feminine" but to me they just make him look sexy and fuckable. I'm not suddenly mistaking him for a woman just because he's draped in pieces of fabric that happen to come from the women's section. They just show his body off in an erotic way. But I'm a little bit of a retard about gender stuff, it doesn't really occur to me to think of gender in such a malleable way that clothes would have so much meaning attached to them

i'm bi but i agree with above anon. female clothes are just way sluttier in general. it's not even an emasculation thing for me they just show off the body in certain ways. i like some male clothing too. everything gives a different vibe. they're tools to supplement an image.
however it is kind of a domination thing for me too, just not in a feminising way i don't think. it's just because you're not "meant" to be wearing those clothes and it's seen as embarrassing to do it. feminisation isn't hot at all to me and if the guy is too feminine it's ruined for me too.
can't speak to your boyfriend though

as a chaser, I don't like gay fem guys crossdressing socially, because I feel that it is done as a mockery of what I'd want to do if I didn't look like a gorilla, I know they're not trying to be offensive and they have no idea what's going on in my head, but I seethe when I see it, this isn't something to be taken lightly and yet they're just wearing a dress and being "fabulous" (ick, I hate that word)

but if it's arousing to your partner and it doesn't bother you then I think you should do it, just treat it with the dignity it deserves instead of treating it like a cheap toy that you can just play with and throw away like it means nothing to you

I'm not a repper, I just think I understand trans women better than some guys, because I study them. they're extremely interesting, surely you can admit that

Because he sees you as a subhuman, self-cleaning onahole to use and the emasculation is just further enforcement of the fact.

You describe wanting to do the same thing and are offended when people take it lightly lol
