Personally, I don't believe that. I define gender as neurological gender. If you're neurologically female then you're female. The logic for that is fairly straightforward, changing your hormones doesn't change who you are as a person, changing your neurology very much. So if your nervous system doesn't tolerate testosterone very well, but works on estrogen just fine, you're a female woman.
