ill tell u what someone else here told me: when you have ur thigh grabbed with needle ready to go, you need to close your eyes right before the needle goes in. one fluid motion with the hand holding the syringe to the center of the area you're grabbing. its gonna hurt, keep your eyes closed until you push the needle fully in. if you're unsure, open your eyes, see how much further you need to go, then close them and continue. after that just push down on the plunger until the syringe is empty. then gently let go of your thigh and slowly pull the needle out, i usually do it over the course of 60 seconds to make sure nothing leaks.
out of habit i always aspirate the needle once its in but you dont really need to do that anymore, so i hear.

I carefully disinfect the injection site and the vial, inject some air and carefully tap out any bubbles after drawing my solution, change to my injection needle and then ever so slightly line it up... and then I J-J-J-JAM IT IN

i inject into my stomach fat subcutaneously. It honestly doesn't even feel like anything most of the time for me, but i still always have music or some yt video playing really loudly to distract myself. But i’ve definitely had those times where it takes a while

just sit down and relax and jam it in.
once it gets through the initial layer it'll slide right in 0 pain easily until you hit the muscle then it'll pinch again. lol
after you do a few times it gets really easy. if you always use new needles it makes it easier, and thinner gauges. 25,27

I find it easiest to do IM glute injections. What helped me was having my gf show me how to do it, I didn't want to look like a bitch in front of her so I just jammed it right in there. Sometimes I pretend that I'm a female bodybuilder pinning my UGL steroids

I literally gave myself my first intramuscular injection at 11 (I had to take some injection only meds for a few weeks).

the interesting thing about injecting is that the more slowly and anxiously you do it, it becomes exponentially more painful.

Just gaslight yourself into thinking it's not a big deal at all and just boop stick the needle in and push it down to the base and push the plunger down then slowly draw it out while holding the plunger down and you'll be fine, no pain at all

Subq into bellyfat is pretty easy and I fucking hate having bellyfat to start with so if it gets damaged who cares.
That and putting a show on while I draw etc and zoning out a bit (EUn takes a while to draw)
