But the sharty only went down the path of becoming an alt-right grooming hub because /qa/ was locked and the userbase became more jaded as a result. If basedteens had remained on /qa/ it's very unlikely such a thing would've occurred.

Again, the issue isn't that the raiders were punished, the issue is lack of clear communication and censorship from the jannies. Deleting an entire board was far too extreme and made the problem worse.
